In The Air Tonight - SFM MV (link in description)

I started working on this soon after uploading the Black Velvet SFM music video, as I had a few ideas that I wanted to put down as soon as possible. One of these ideas was to combine SFM animation with waveform simulations made in Adobe After Effects.

For the geeks amongst you, you may know that the drum machine used in "In The Air Tonight" was a Roland CR-78 drum machine. A while ago I was able to find a .rar file online (can't remember where) that had all of the separate samples of the sounds of that CR-78 drum machine. I had the idea to recreate the drum loop that goes throughout the song and render a set of waveforms to match the drum loop in Adobe After Effects.

This music video is more of a kind of homage to the original music video that premiered on MTV, which features Phil Collins' face in a close-up shot, singing the words of the song throughout the majority of the video.

I've noticed my music videos seem to have a thing with cigarettes and cigars. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
